Privacy policy

Last updated: January 2026

This policy explains what information North Goods LLC (“we”, “us”, shopnorthgoods.com) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Order information: name, shipping and billing address, email, and order contents — provided by you at checkout.
  • Payment information: card details are collected and processed by our PCI-compliant payment processors. We store only the last four digits and card type on our systems.
  • Usage information: pages visited, referring site and approximate location, collected through privacy-respecting analytics that do not build advertising profiles.
  • Communications: emails and messages you send us, including order-support conversations.

How we use it

  • To process, fulfill and deliver your orders.
  • To provide support and answer your questions.
  • To send order updates, tracking and receipts (transactional).
  • To send marketing emails — only if you subscribe, with unsubscribe in every message.
  • To detect fraud and keep accounts secure.
  • To improve our website and catalog.

Sharing

We sell your personal information to no one. We share it only with the services needed to run the store: shipping carriers (to deliver), payment processors (to charge and refund), and our email platform (to send receipts and, if you opt in, offers). Each is bound by contract to use your data only for our instructions.

Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies to remember your cart and preferences, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser; the store will still work.

Your choices

  • Marketing: unsubscribe from any email, or email us to opt out of everything at once.
  • Access & deletion: email support@shopnorthgoods.com to request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it. We respond within 30 days.
  • Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: our analytics respect browser privacy signals.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant processors. Access to order data inside our team is limited to staff who need it to serve you.

Children

Our products and marketing are directed to adults; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
