Everyone should be able to shop the catalog without fighting the website. Here's how we hold ourselves to that.
What we do
- Build to WCAG 2.1 AA as our working target — contrast, focus visibility, keyboard navigation and screen-reader labels are part of every page, not an afterthought.
- Write alt text for every product photo, and test the checkout and cart flows with keyboard only.
- Respect your motion preferences — reveal animations pause when your system asks for reduced motion.
If something is hard to use
Tell us and we'll fix it. Email support@shopnorthgoods.com or call +19712998596 (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm PT) with the page you were on and what went wrong. We aim to reply within one business day, and accessibility issues jump the queue.
Prefer to order by phone? Call us and a human will take your order, answer questions about materials, and read anything on the site aloud.
